PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT AND ONLINE THERAPY.

ABOUT ME
I am a registered and chartered Consultant Psychologist, completing my training in 2011. I have worked alongside individuals who have difficulties with anxiety, their mood, shame and low self-worth, voices, paranoia and relational difficulties. Additionally I have worked with individuals who have engaged in offending behaviour and who have experienced significant adverse childhood experiences and complex trauma. I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT
I complete Psychological assessment, including assessments of Cognitive functioning, Autism, Malingering, Suggestibility, and a full mental state examination. I work with both victims and offenders and provide psychological assessment to assist in the court process. I am passionate about the impact of trauma and adverse childhood experiences, and ensuring that the impact of these experiences are recognised when formulating mental health vulnerabilities and offending behaviour.
ONLINE THERAPY
Do you have difficulties with anxiety, relationship difficulties, self criticism and self punishment, anger, depression, difficulties with alcohol or drugs. I have completed core training in ISTDP with ISTDP UK, and am currently focusing my therapy work within this model. I have experience in using CBT, Schema informed and MBT to support individuals to explore the modes, thoughts, or behaviours which may maintain their presenting difficulties. Together, during these meetings we will develop a focus for therapy and identify patterns of relating, pathways of anxiety, and make links between the past and present. This process will aim to unlock core feelings that have been avoided, and which maintain the difficulties with which you arrive at therapy.
ISTDP-UK trainers and Core Trainings are accredited by the International Association of Experiential Dynamic Therapies (IEDTA).
Dr Robert J. Neborsky.
“The outcome studies of dynamic psychotherapy indicate to me that the experience of feeling, what frightened one in the past in an atmosphere of care, compassion, and safety, is the singularly most crucial healing factor in dynamic psychotherapy.”
